Financial Considerations Below is a list of fees that the recipient must provide during the egg donation process. Actual costs may vary.

• Agency Fee: $3,500.00
  This amount will be paid at the selection of your egg donor and signing of the Agency agreement.
• Legal Fees: $750.00 - $1,200.00
  $750.00 to be paid to A Woman’s Gift for disbursement to specific attorney(s) prior to drafting of the legal contract. $350.00 - $500.00 to be paid to A Woman’s Gift for disbursement to the donor’s attorney of choice prior to working with counsel.

• Egg Donor/Recipient Short-term Insurance:$395 for Donor/Recipient policy or $245 for Donor only coverage
  Coverage purchased for the egg donor/recipient cycle through New Life Insurance Agency.
• Egg Donor Compensation: $6,000 - $8,500
  This may be higher for proven or exceptional donors. Donor compensation will never exceed $10,000
• Psychological Screening: $300 - $800
  The listed cost is based on using a local Licensed Professional Counselor. Since the meeting must be done in person, cost is also dependent on the geographic location of the donor and her psychologist of choice.
• Medical Screening: $2,000 - $3,000
  Actual cost will depend on the donor’s medical facility.
• Donor Medication: $2,500 - $3,000
  Actual cost will depend on the donor’s medical facility.

• Hotel/Lodging: $400 - $1,200
  Necessary expense only when using a non-local donor. Dependent on days required by your IVF clinic. Usually 4-8 days. Customary cost $100 - $150/day.
• Travel: $300 - $600 per person
  Necessary expense only when using a non-local donor. Cost is an estimate of airfare at the time of travel; most IVF clinics mandate that the donor must have a companion travel with her to help on the evening of HCG and with her travel to and from the IVF clinic on the day of the IVF procedure.
• Daily per diem allowance for Donor: $30/day. 
  There can also be a per diem allowance for the donor's companion as applicable at $20 / day. This includes neither transportation to/from the airport nor rental car fees, if applicable.
• Childcare for Donor's Children: Varies
  If a donor is traveling and leaving behind pre-school children, she may require assistance with childcare expenses--such expense would require your approval and be specified in the legal contract.
