The following is a good-faith estimate of the expenses incurred by parent(s) when utilizing a gestational carrier through A Woman's Gift. Actual costs may vary.

  • Agency Fee: $9,800
Agency fee is paid in two installments; $7,000 at the selection of gestational carrier and remaining $2,800 at the signing of the legal agreement between gestational carrier and intended parents.
  • Legal Fees: $2,250
To be paid to A Woman's Gift for disbursement to specific attorney(s) prior to drafting of the legal contract, $1,750, and $500 to gestational carrier's attorney for her review.

Additional legal fees are necessary if a pre-birth order is to be obtained, as this will require additional legal services. Fees will vary depending on your jurisdiction and will be discussed with your private counsel.

Compensation varies depending on the selected gestational carrier and her fee for service; this also may vary based on her need for private insurance.

This cost may not be necessary if the carrier has had screening done in the past year; in most cases this amount will not be covered by the carrier's private insurance -- her insurance will pay associated costs only AFTER a pregnancy has been achieved. Some insurance companies may not cover costs associated in early pregnancy monitoring with fertility clinic. Most clinics discharge to OB at 12 weeks or less.
  • Uterine Evaluation: $250 - $750
