Frances A. Fox, R.N. – Owner and Clinical Director. A 1984 graduate from Hahnemann University, School of Allied Health and Nursing, in Philadelphia, PA Clinically employed from 1984 to 1994 in Maternal Child Health in hospital settings as a Labor and Delivery nurse with some post partum high risk and newborn nursing care.

I ventured into IVF clinical care and from 1994 to 1997 I was an IVF nurse for a busy South Jersey IVF clinic. In July of 1997, I was promoted to Donor Egg Nurse Coordinator and worked in that setting until October of 2006. During the time of my employment I often became frustrated for our patients who often were told even after considering egg donation that they were in need of a gestational carrier. They felt alone, frustrated and had no where reputable to turn.

After considering all the implications I decided to incorporate privately an Agency of a different sort; one that would be run by a medical professional with years of clinical experience in the field of infertility. There was so much mistrust and fear from our patients who didn’t know who to trust or where to turn and I felt I could make a difference from other Agencies. With the endorsement of the medical director of the clinic where I was employed I co-existed and continued to share responsibilities with another nurse until it became apparent that I was too busy to fairly give to both the clinic and my business. In October of 2006 I made the decision to solely work with A Woman’s Gift and although I enjoyed my early career of helping women deliver and care for their children the joy I’ve experienced while helping build families through the use of egg donation and gestational surrogacy has far surpassed any of what I could have imagined for my life’s work. I have been truly blessed to be able to participate in completing the dream for so many of becoming a family. I take this work on passionately and understand what support and care is needed during this emotional time.

With other staff members, Kelly, our office manager, Lauren, Andrea, and Angela, and the ancillary staff we use as referral sources we provide the necessary clerical / medical / legal support to have all tasks completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Our primary focus is providing potential donor and gestational carrier candidates to those wishing to begin or build their family. We maintain a select group of candidates, screening and recruiting based on the latest guidelines of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. These women stand ready to help make your dream a reality. We believe they embody the best of the caring nature and generosity of spirit that makes third-party reproduction possible.
